Agricultural Cluster Admission System (ACAS) is a centralized undergraduate admission process for nine public agricultural universities in Bangladesh. Introduced to simplify and streamline the admission journey, ACAS allows students to apply to all nine universities through a single platform, sit for one combined admission test, and receive university and subject allocations based on merit — all without the stress of managing multiple separate applications.
The cluster is coordinated by Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), Mymensingh, which leads the central admission committee. All admission-related activities — application, payment, admit card download, seat plan, and result — are managed through the official website: acas.edu.bd.
A total of approximately 3,701 seats are available across the nine member universities for the 2025–26 session:
| University | Location | Seats (Approx.) |
|---|---|---|
| Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) | Mymensingh | 1,006 |
| Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU) | Dhaka | 705 |
| Sylhet Agricultural University | Sylhet | 431 |
| Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) | Chattogram | 275 |
| Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU) | Patuakhali | 452 |

Note: Seat numbers may vary slightly each session. Always verify with the official ACAS circular on acas.edu.bd.
Only students from the Science Group are eligible to apply for the ACAS admission test. The academic requirements are:
Second-timers (students who passed HSC in 2024 and are applying in the 2025–26 cycle) are eligible to apply.
The ACAS admission test is a fully MCQ-based written examination. Here is the complete breakdown:
| Subject | Marks |
|---|---|
| Biology | 30 |
| Chemistry | 25 |
| Physics | 25 |
| Mathematics | 20 |
| Component | Marks |
|---|---|
| Admission Test Score | 100 |
| SSC GPA × 5 | 25 |
| HSC GPA × 5 | 25 |
| Total | 150 |
Students are ranked on the final merit list based on this combined score of 150 marks.
All applications are submitted online only through acas.edu.bd. The step-by-step process is as follows:
The admission test is conducted simultaneously at all 9 participating universities on the same day and time, along with additional sub-centers across the country. Students select their preferred center during the application process.
After the result, seat allocation is done based on merit rank and each candidate’s university preference list. The ACAS system uses an auto-migration process — if a seat opens at a higher-preferred university, eligible students are automatically moved up. Multiple rounds of migration take place until all seats are filled.
Final admission requires payment of a BDT 10,000 confirmation fee at the allocated university.
