Agricultural Cluster Universities

About

Agricultural Cluster Admission System (ACAS) is a centralized undergraduate admission process for nine public agricultural universities in Bangladesh. Introduced to simplify and streamline the admission journey, ACAS allows students to apply to all nine universities through a single platform, sit for one combined admission test, and receive university and subject allocations based on merit — all without the stress of managing multiple separate applications.

The cluster is coordinated by Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), Mymensingh, which leads the central admission committee. All admission-related activities — application, payment, admit card download, seat plan, and result — are managed through the official website: acas.edu.bd.

Participating Universities & Available Seats

A total of approximately 3,701 seats are available across the nine member universities for the 2025–26 session:

Application Process

All applications are submitted online only through acas.edu.bd. The step-by-step process is as follows:

  1. Visit acas.edu.bd and register using your SSC and HSC roll numbers and an active mobile number.
  2. Fill out the application form with personal and academic details.
  3. Select your preferred exam center — you must rank all 9 universities from 1 (first choice) to 9 (last choice). Your final center is assigned based on your preference and payment timing (first-come, first-served).
  4. Upload a recent passport-size color photo (JPG, max 50KB).
  5. Pay the application fee of BDT 1,200 (non-refundable) via mobile banking (bKash, Nagad, Rocket) or online banking.
  6. Download your Admit Card from the website after the deadline. Admit cards must be printed in color on A4 paper (two copies required).
  7. Appear for the admission test at your assigned center.
  8. Check your result by logging in to acas.edu.bd after the result is published.

Exam Centers

The admission test is conducted simultaneously at all 9 participating universities on the same day and time, along with additional sub-centers across the country. Students select their preferred center during the application process.

Seat Allocation & Auto-Migration

After the result, seat allocation is done based on merit rank and each candidate’s university preference list. The ACAS system uses an auto-migration process — if a seat opens at a higher-preferred university, eligible students are automatically moved up. Multiple rounds of migration take place until all seats are filled.

Final admission requires payment of a BDT 10,000 confirmation fee at the allocated university.
